About Michael Kim, MD

Michael Kim, MD, FACC, FSCAI is committed to providing care that is deeply rooted in compassion and partnership, placing the needs and goals of his patients and their loved ones at the center of the patient-provider relationship. He believes that transparency in communication and views every patient encounter as an opportunity to assist patients in achieving their cardiovascular health care goals.

Dr. Kim earned his B.S. at Stanford University and his M.D. from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis/Barnes Jewish Hospital and completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Colorado-Denver.

Dr. Kim is an expert in structural heart disease interventions, encompassing the full array of catheter-based valvular therapies including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and transcatheter mitral valve repair (MitraClip). His expertise also encompasses non-valvular therapies such as PFO/ASD/VSD closure, paravalvular leak repair, and left atrial appendage closure.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, watching them grow and develop into well-rounded individuals. He also enjoys cycling, golfing, skiing, and can regularly be found on the Peloton leaderboard.
