Our Services

Trust us to be your partner against cancer

To get the very best cancer care, you don't have to travel very far. Longmont United Hospital's cancer care program brings world-class cancer technology and physicians right to the neighborhoods of Boulder, Laramie, and Weld Counties.

We at Longmont United Hospital offer a full range of clinical trials, psychosocial support services, and nurse navigation to our patients. We pride ourselves on a multidisciplinary approach to care: uniting surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, as well as oncology certified nurses, genetic counselors, and ancillary staff to deliver the best possible outcome for patients. Unique to us is our interdisciplinary Tumor Board. Patient cases are presented and discussed to determine the best treatment plan and to ensure coordinated care.

Radiation Therapy

Radiation therapy services at Longmont United Hospital are provided by the Hope Cancer Care Center located at the Hospital. Radiation Therapy at Longmont United Hospital serves adults who need radiation therapy for any primary cancer, including breast, colon, lung, prostate and other cancers.

Cancer patients at Longmont United Hospital receive radiation therapy from our leading radiation oncology team who specialize in particular cancers and are experts in their field. In fact, our radiation oncology team has been working together for over two decades. They design an individualized treatment plan to target your tumor and minimize the effects of radiation therapy on healthy tissue. Your team also works closely with you to manage any side effects and helps you take the best possible care of yourself during treatment.

Depending on your diagnosis, your care team may also coordinate and schedule your treatment at other Longmont United Hospital facilities, including the Health Center for Integrated Therapies and the Wellness Center. All of our facilities feature state-of-the-art equipment to ensure patients are getting the best treatment available, including a wide range of radiation therapy services. We also offer many of the latest and most innovative options through clinical trials.
