Biography

Olukemi Akinrinola, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician who sees children, teens and young adults up to age 21 for preventive care and acute conditions. Dr. Akinrinola is passionate about delivering excellent patient care and extending the healing hands of Jesus. She believes medicine is her calling, and it’s her mission to care for those who need healing.

Dr. Akinrinola received her medical degree from the University of Port Harcourt in Nigeria. She completed a residency in Nigeria before coming to the United States, where she completed a pediatrics residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She’s a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Medical Association (AMA) and the Physician Wellness Committee at AdventHealth Parker. She’s been a faculty member at Kansas State University and the University of North Dakota.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Akinrinola likes writing books, singing, cooking, walking and talking with family.

Care Philosophy

Dr. Akinrinola likes to partner with her patients’ parents and caregivers to keep their children well, as families are integral to the provider-patient relationship. She spends time getting to know both her patients and their families and will always advocate for the kids in her care.
